    Default Name that Bunk

I now have the mind of an old man - can anyone tell me the name of the weird way Stewards would fold sheets and blankets in rough weather, so it wasn't tucked in and was easy to do a runner to the boats -

    cheers

That Jim is exactly it! Board of Trade Bunk Makeup.
Always the standard on all the UCL Ships and others as well I am sure!
    Cheers

remember the skipper on cabin inspection,if your bunk was not made by board of trade standard.or loose clothes hanging about,or dust.he would mess the cabin up.he used a trolley with mirror & white gloves.no joke.

Did, sounds like swivel eyed Lloyd, the scourge of cabin inspections.

Oh yes BOT beds made to the same standard and yes Jim top sheet to the bottom each weekly change.
Peak steward was very good at making them up, but captains inspection could be a night mare at times.
Swivel eye Lloyd has his tiger follow him with a silver salver full of white gloves. On any day he would use at least a dozen looking for dust.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
