Re: Fitness
In going back and reading the first post I would think that if you are looking for excitement at 16 today's modern box boats and cruise liners are far from it . At 16 I decided I wanted to go to see in engineering and has it been said on many occasions here one of the most important things is colorblindness because if you can't tell the difference between red and green you can have an awful accident with wiring and instead of making things go TiK ToK and work you can make things easily go bang . Age and experience tell me whatever job you want to do in this day and age find somebody is doing it and make sure that you understand what it's about and don't have some idealized impression and at this age I think research is important as you don't want to make a mistake now that will hit you for life

Re: Fitness
Fitness in our day consisted of two things.
The ability to lift a pint or two.
The ability to get ones leg over in any port.
