Cargo lists.
Hi,
As explained on the 'Hello' thread I'm trying to trace cargo lists for two ships onefrom the 1920's, the other from the 30's. Does anyone have any advice that may help with this? One of the ships was the Port Curtis, I've lost the name of the other for a minute as my main computer is down.
Who, if anyone, might have kept these records, would insurers still have them, what was the standard practice for insuring cargo (live animals in this case), has anyond got any ideas?
Thanks for reading.

Re: Cargo lists.
If she was one of Port Lines ships then there are couple of members who sailed with them.
I doubt after this long insurance records will still be there, but up to date insurance types may give you some idea of what was on offer.
