While we are on the subject of Peterhead, has anyone heard from Bill Morrison, I've not seen him in site lately?

Re: Reviewing old research
THERE WAS ANOTHER ONE OLDER OF COURSE
PD 761 Daisy 1888-1907 And the Peterhead is correct!! Fishing Trawlers! Many of them all with the PD Numbers in fact from 1 to 1448. on the Peterhead Heritage Page
History:
1888 completed and registered PD 761 Daisy
1907 December 11th., Peterhead registry closed, vessel sold to Portgordon.
1907 December 18th., Registered BCK 8 Daisy
1908 September 14th., Buckie registry closed, vessel sold to Brora.
1908 registered WK ? (possibly WK 663)
Cheers

Apologies for for going off on tangent, just the mention of Peterhead triggered my brain recalling not seeing him.

Re: Reviewing old research
Going back to PD registration , this is the same as a ships lifeboat sails they are lettered with the first and last letters of the ships name and the number of the boat. My first thoughts were the Shields trawlers with SN for some reason , if first and last should have been NS. So Peterhead is almost 100% correct ? JS
