Awol
Was in hospital Constant Observation Unit for a week with erratic blood pressure and heart rate. Came home last night and the problem seems to be under control with medication adjustments. I went into the Blue Mountains & District ANZAC Memorial Hospital, Katoomba by ambulance the day before ANZAC Day, 25th April.
On ANZAC Day there was a service in the courtyard and I was taken down in a wheel chair. I am now OK and feel very, very much improved. At the time though, it wasn't necessary to throw a bucket of water over me when these two attractive nurses posed for the attached photograph. It was well organised and some of the nurses were dressed up in the uniforms of the days nurses carried out their wonderful works in the most terrible conditions. Our hospital is the only one in Australia to be an ANZAC memorial.
Will catch up with events,
Cheers, Richard

Re: Awol
Richard the original post disappeared, a shortened version , take it easy, or as they used to say in the BWI ( British West Indies). take it light man. Have the same problems and keep my own record for weekly check up with my GP. However mine varies between 110/ 30 and 200/ 80 , but just show him the ones that look good. My outlook on life is we all die with the same thing “ shortage of Breath” . Look on the bright side ..if you still find those two nurses attractive you have years ahead of you yet. There’s no race to the finishing post in the race of life. Keep well. JWS.
