Cardiac Heart Arrest
I have been off the site since the middle of January with a heart condition. In and out of hospital for treatment for a leaking heart valve. At the moment it is being treated with various drugs they hope will control it. Surgery will be a last option I think.
It feels good to be back on the site but will have to do some catching up.

Re: Cardiac Heart Arrest
#1 Good to see you back Bill. Sorry about the old ticker. But if it’s any consolation to you I have had supposedly heart conditions since 16. High blood pressure has always been there for me. It was only when got to 60 that the shipping doctor got all serious about it and the tablets started so you could say have been on medication for 28 years. Being hospitalised at one time they found that the blood had found a new pathway round the heart so just left. My recent falls over the past couple of years were put down to minor strokes. I don’t loose any sleep over it as worry will only make the problem probably worse.I always say there is always someone worse off than oneself. Saying all that however sorry if it was a shock when you found out and hope for a full recovery and your family and friends supportive if necessary. All the best good to see you posting a good sign of recovery. Cheers JS
