Ben Line Ships
On the Ben Line website there is a list of ships and if they were broken up or sold. Of the ships that were sold does anybody know if any still remain either sailing or laid up? It would be good to know if one of them was still intact. Cheers

That would be a miracle.
The 3 big 58,000 tonne container ships BENALDER,BENAVON and CITY OF EDINBURGH were scrapped ,after a succession of different names/owners,in China in 2001/2,mind you they were nearly 30 years old !
The small 8,000 tonne containership BENVALLOCH (called that from 1979-1986 ) has also gone,- from 2006.
All gone now….except in photographs and memories.Mind you,to many, that had already happened in the mid-seventies .
