Hi Colin I also had the book of the Bibby History, unfortunatly it went missing years ago< but I remember the history starting if I'm not mistaken with an illastration of the fiest Bibby Ship "THE MARY BIBBY".
Its interesting that so many still have the chalice (china pot) it would be interesting to find how many of the 600 are still about.
I've always wondered what the value would be.

Thats the one mines in a china cabinet, unfortunatly I don't have the Blue silk line box that it came in. I have also lost the hard back book The History of Bibby that came with it.

I have the chalice in the box it came in, with the Coalport leaflet in my display cabinet.
I also have the Red book. I've used that for the correct sizes of the ships for the Gazette.

Nice photo, I also have one. I believe they were sent out in late 1975, I remember because mine turned up just after leaving Bibby's to take up shore employment

I was presented with one of the Colport goblets and thenabout two years ago managed to pick another up on Ebay for about £90.
