Greetings Rod. was on the Kiwi the same time as you.I was an AB on her for three and a half years.Left just before Xmas 79 and went back deep sea.All the best JohnB

Gerry was a Fireman Greaser. We both done the survival course at Lowersoft together and joined the ship in the shipyard at Rotterdam. From memory I can remember a few names.Willy 2nd cook was on the same roster as me Goerge was 2nd steward,his mate Stuart was A/Steward Harry Rigall was cook Malcolm Davies was bosun along with Len Inglis Horace Cumberbatch A/B along with his pal Don Gregory,Goerge Farmer Fire man Greaser,Greg McNiesh (Daisy),John Nuagher Chief Steward,Gill Barber Jack Hobbs Old Men.Thats about alll can remember far now.Not bad it was nearly 32 years ago

i was the one who had the motorbike accident and was layed of for one year as i was almost dead and went back deep sea. sailed with John Nuagher on the british tenacity again, he was great chief steward, set up his own radio station on board, each member of the ships crew was invited up to do there top ten hits what a laugh. what about daisy she sent me a bunch of flowers to the hospitial, girlfriend then ask quite a few questions. now married two kids one 18 and one 16 had my own restaurant for 25 years.
