    Default .. & the ones I served on ...

    Hi guys - new member:

From November 1966 through to January 1975 ... all British etc
    Dragoon - Architect - Poplar - Trust - Glory - Curlew - Honour - Sergeant - Energy - Chancellor - Courage - Cavalier - Security - Gannet - Ambassador

Was 2/0 on the Ambassador when she went to a watery grave.

Had some 'interesting' times and mat many a character.

Went on to work for P & O GCD after that.
I had resigned a month before the Ambassador sunk - the leaving was not connected, in fact I did reconsider staying on the basis of the sinking doing no harm towards promotion prospects.

    Cheers

    Mike

Welcome Mike to the best site of all. If you care to put some dates with those ships you may get replies from some who sailed with you. So while you wait sit back witha cold one and enjoy the voyage.

    Hi Mike.
Welcome aboard good crowd on board, plenty of chit chat and tall tales. Take a look in the shipping companies forum there is a BP one showing ships sailed on by different people on site, I was on six with four trips on the Guardian. Cold here in Whangarei could do with a trip up the gulf right now.
