I sailed on the Br.Birch July 56-November 56 this was my 1st ship as the 4th eng.the Chief was Jimmy Little
4 cylinder doxford engine joined her in Grangemouth went to sweden & norway, had a bit of a row in the fjord at Stavanger, on to Hamble then off to Mena through the Canal just before the Isreal invation of Egypt We then went across the big pond to Houston I left her at Swansea In November

BP Ships
Hi Wullie.
Back in the 50s,I also did a few trips with BP
....British Pioneer,Resource,Envoy,Duke and
the Hero.The "Pioneer" and the "Envoy" also
went to the "Clyde" for a short while.
