Hi David, I sailed on the BRITISH INDUSTRY from 8/2/57 to 26/4/57. We went from the Clyde to Las Palmas then to Aden and from there to the Isle of Grain in Kent. I didn't enjoy my time on this ship. The captain at that time was Captain Jeffries.

i see from the dates you have regarding the maiden voyage on the British industry, which I joined on the 8th feb 1957 in the Clyde. She had just been handed over from the shipyard. So I would class this as the maiden voyage.
