    Went on to become Catering Officer on OCL ss Discovery Bay then Flinders Bay ... then from 1973 was Catering Superintendent of Royal Research Ships until 1985, then Port Operations Manager for Sealink British Ferries at Portsmouth Continental Ferryport until 1990.

    G'day David I was on the 'Paparoa' in 64, skipper was captain North but cannot remeber the name of second steward, think he was from south of the country.
