Funnel Markings
Hi,
Watched the P@Os Dawn Princess depart Napier this afternoon, was surprised to see that she has a white funnel, what looks like a black band at the top is the
uptakes insid a lattice type of surround. Anybody got any detail about this, always thought they had yellow funnels,
Cheers,

Could she now have been charted to P&O Cruises Australia whose funnels appear to be as you describe. I know P&O are selling off the Pacific Sun this year so maybe Dawn Princess is replacing her.??

Hi Tony,
Can't get a quick reply off to you for some reason,so will try this way.
You are probably right about the charter job, ugly looking thing she is,in my opinion anyway,
Cheers,
Len.

Having just completed a cruise with Princess lines I can assure you there is no intention to replace the P&O Paciffic Sun with the Dawn Princess. Both are Carnival owned but run separately. The Sun is th eoldest in P&O Oz line and in need of replacing. The sailing listeings for the next 18 months certainly show Dawn Princess aopperating as Princess LIne. As to the funnel, the logo on Princess, the 'Sea Witch' does have a black line incorporated but in no way resembles P&O.

Happy daze John in Oz.
