I often look ahead with Princess to see what cruises will be available as far as two years hence.

I found one that sounded appealing for Christmas/New Year 2020/21 going to a number of Asian ports including Brunei.

Yesterday I received a message from Princess to indicate the Brunei port call would not take place.

The reason!!
Princess recognize persons who are GLBTIQ but Brunei say such persons are not allowed into the country.

For a moment, read your headline and thought you were talking about John-in-Oz not booking on Princess Lines out of sympathy for LBetc..

Clicked on your wee photo and had a good chuckle, called my wife in to look too, who loves dogs (almost I trust) as much as me) and weighs 88lbs and 5' tall (?) and she had a belly laugh.

Just back from a very good time on the cruise around Indonesia.
Christmas and New Year celebrations some of the best we have ever had.

Met with a very nice couple who we teamed up with for much of the time, she in English he is from Liverpool.

We sailed from Freemantle, almost like sailing from Southampton. 2,000 passengers with about 1500 from Western Oz mainly Perth and Freeo, all ex Poms.
Listening to the accents you would think you were in UK.

Had few incidents, one Asian lady attempted twice to jump over the side. Two put off at the first port of call for fighting in the passenger laundry, al over the use of the iron.

Italian skipper with British Chief officer and Chief engineer.
Three crew drills while at sea, one for man over board, one for fire at sea and one for flood.
All very well conducted exercises which shows that the company does take safety at sea seriously.
