Had a great time on the Countess. If anybody else was there I would love to hear about it. Was even there during the strike in Barbados when they tried to reflag the ship.

I joined the Countess December 83. What a rust bucket! I am surprised she is still around.

Yes I also joined the countess in 83 had a great time until we got finished in 86, I joined from QE2 and got my rating to crew steward then to PRS. What a surprise I got to see her still sailing out of liverpool, and still blowing black soot over the back deck! I remember we had to be up every morn to clean the soot off the deck furniture before the passengers came..
Good times though..
