Re: Welfare Minister Lord Freud
Lou will be pleased with this one.Lou lives life to the full and one of his pastimes is having his daily bet on the horses and we discuss this in our regular pm's.This morning I was telling him that I was going out for a few pints and a gamble on the geegee's.Anyway I went down to the Pier Head first,I went to the FEPOW Memorial and I gave the Monawai (Lous repatriation ship) a rub for luck, believe it or not I backed four winners on the bounce all at good prices so I would say I had a good day with nothing to moan about and that is exactly what Lou is saying.A good day out plenty to drink and came home with more money that I went out with.
Regards.

Jim, Long may it to continue that you are comfortable in your retirement. As for the youngsters well this prime minister and his government has created another few million jobs for our youngsters. Took them out of the income tax bracket, They only if there lucky earn £10,000 a year if there lucky, The problem is all this austerity and misery has done squat sh*t for the countries deficit, In fact we have never been borrowing as much money in U.K. History each month as we are now. UKIP With there promise of an in out referendum from the E.U. has Sir Cameron getting tough on migration influx to the U.K. with Brussels. shame no one hadn't informed him that as a member state and signing the Lisbon treaty he would be breaking E.U. Law by imposing sanctions on the free movement of any migrant wanting to come to Britain do a few months work then bleed us dry through claiming welfare benefits. George Osborne has all the answers in a word AUSTERITY....And lots more of it over the next 4 years. All in it together enjoy your pension while you can Jim, They are running out of things to cut and getting deeper into debt. Not a good sign buddy Terry.

Wish I had your optomisim about that. I cannot, with things the way they are in the world just now, see any better times for many years to come. There is no REAL global concensus on any issue, plenty of talk and signing of papers but that is about it.

Happy daze John in Oz.
