Today in England we allegedly celebrate St George's Day. My pennant is flying fore and aft.

When I looked out earlier, the flags were out. Then I see that the date for St Georges day has been changed to the 28th. No matter though, we can celebrate twice. Makes a change from all the other flags we see these days.

The flags were out here today as well Johnny until I heard that all national flags are flown at half mast starting today for the pope. JS

The date had to be changed because of a Church of England rule; apparently there cant be a saints day within a certain time of Easter, so as Easter date varies from year to year then a clash of date anomaly can happen occasionaly
