Measles
The cases of measles outbreaks are increasing world wide due in part to parents not getting the MMR vaccine for there children. Now this has happened.

Re: Measles
Hi John.
Complacency by people is to blame along with the mass movement of people around the world. In Australia we had eradicated TB then we we had the Vietnamese coming down in the boat load, many of them with TB, that was cleaned up then we got visitors from there with a new strain that was isolated. The anti Vaccine people who for some reason think that their kids are infallible are helping the measles epidemic to spread.
I remember the scarlet Fever epidemic and how that cut a swath through the kids of my day, it's the kids I feel sorry for.

Re: Measles
Measles, TB and a number of other infectious diseases are on the increase.
We in the West may do all we can to eradicate them by vaccination, but there ae many countries where this is not the case.
Speaking with my GP on this matter he tells me that in some instances now these diseases are in fact mutations of the original and he is of the opinion that there will be others that will rear up again.
Polio, thought to be forever gone has shown up in a few places again.

Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.
