Hadley Shipping Co
Hi Joe
Sailed with Tom Coyne and Capt Jackson on the Cerinthus in 63 one of the best tankers that i had sailed in, i think Tom was back and forth the Corato and Cerinthus for years. Saw the Corato many times in Barry and i know a few seaman that had sailed in her, nearly always had a Barry crew. Never had the pleasure of ever sailing with Capt Richards even though he came from my home port of Barry, have a good pic of the Corato, speak soon.
Regards AJ

Re: Hadley Shipping co
Hi Joe, Just stumbled across your thread of 2011. l served on Cerinthus in 1960., as junior Deck Apprentice Our master was Capt.C.J.Welch, but unfortunately he had to leave the ship in Curacao in Dec 1960, and returned to UK for an operation. His relief was Capt.Richards, until we finished our voyage at end of Jan 1961, paying off in Tilbury Docks
