Re: Irish weather forecasts
James, Sarah Blizzard was a weather presenter on BBC East Midlands for as long as I can remember.
She always had a cheerful disposition, and believe it or not she smiled, maybe its because she has been moved to the North West. lol.

Re: Irish weather forecasts
Vic , I am sure she is a lovely person but on local BBC North West !!!!! she is still in the Midlands area as it is a weather hub.
Nothing wrong but would you rather hear the weather is going to be bad from Sara or this lass.

Re: Irish weather forecasts
Here in Oz most TV stations, apart from ABC all have delightful and some very tasty females doing the weather.
Takes your mind off the actual weather forecast when they are there.
Just as bloody well, cos most of the time they get it wrong!!!!!!
Not their fault, it is the BOM!!!!!

Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Re: Irish weather forecasts
When we have Sara Blizzard reading the forecast her way of presenting it is enough to make you want to just go back to bed.
Carol Kirkwood on the other hand is more often than not bubbly and does her best to put a spin on the weather, which in a UK winter is at times difficult to do.

Well James it must be something in the North West, she never dressed like that when on BBC E.M.
Always wore floral print dresses, with a V neck.

Re: Irish weather forecasts
Vic , she is still based in the Midlands as that is the weather hub for our area. Yes she still wears her flowery dresses , but she still has a face on her like a smacked a-rse. Perhaps the poor girl is depressed ? but no need to make the rest of us feel the same way.
