Humour IS subjective, I found Chaplin's films clever, inventive and timed to perfection, but I never laughed out loud at them, even as a child. Obviously, there was no dialogue in his films, just captions so perhaps this could have detracted from their content.

Last month I gave Damar a written request for a 'Keystone Cops' movie, to take to the Phillipino CD shop that sells cheap pirates in Lae. She reckons they just gave her funny looks. I used to have a sore stomach after watching that lot.

even though stan and Ollie were the best I always thought two grown men sharing a bed in a lot of their scripts was a bit well unusual?? think about it....:p j

#16 - Eric & Ernie spent some time in bed together in some of their sketches as I remember.
