Maritime Museum, 'Liverpool Echo' and the Rescue Ships
The Curator at the Liverpool Maritime Museum sent me a copy of Monday 10th November’s “Liverpool Echo”. The Shipping Correspondent, Peter Elson, has written a splendid piece about the Rescue Ships. I am really pleased with it. He interviewed me a couple of weeks ago in connection with a panel that has been put in the Maritime’s Atlantic Gallery concerning the Rescue Ship Service and my Dad.
Needless to say , I have no idea how to put a link to the aforesaid article but I’m sure my friend, Jim Brady, might manage it !
Please Jim. Thanks.
Regards
Brenda

Could you add the title as used in the press report, tried rescue ships etc, newspapers generally are found to be easier if you have the actual headline that they used. K

This is the one, I think: WARTIME HERO AND FLEET REMEMBERED; Shipping LINES. - Free Online Library
It might be worth having the two threads merged to save confusion.

Thank you, Don. That's the story. There isn't anything missing other than a picture of me with the Red Duster.
