Not sure where to put this. Each time I try to reply to another Member's post,I'm told my post is too short. Must contain at least ten characters. My last attempt to reply to Vernon contained at least thirty or forty words. How many words does it take to make ten characters?

Had this problem myself. However click on "reply to post "and in the resulting new box click on" go advanced".(at bottom of text box) Put your message in there, click submit reply and Bob's yer uncle.

Same with me. Had problems replying, contacted Vernon. He had the problem sorted out in minutes.

As with all new systems it will take time to adjust.
But with reply using quote I find is not active. Unless you go advanced your reply will not be activated, if you attempt reply only it will ask if you wish to stay on this page?
In time I am sure it will all be resolved, but as I am folicaly challenged I am reduced to pulling the hair from my hand, the back that is!
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Thanks Vernon for the advice always given it is appreciated, but like John (oz) I have mysterious forces at work as my "reply" and "reply with quote" buttons cast me into the wilderness.

Also whilst I note many posters have the numbers of posts and thanks they had previously many of us have had ours reduced, I've lost a few hundred posts and according to my new data when I started hadn't thanked any body and hadn't received any, not that it bothers me, just curious about the discrepancy for some and not others. Also noticed all "Likes" have disappeared, these were a good part of the site as it did reassure the sender at least some of their posts were appreciated by others and was a quick method of showing others you appreciated their efforts.

Having said all that I am grateful to all who have made strenuous efforts to get the site back up and running, I'm not sure the wife is too pleased however as the new shelf has been put on the back burner

    Regards Ivan

So it's as easy as this is it?
    Growing old is mandatory,
    Growing up is optional.
