#10 , John I was on the Bibby own Stolt Kent, she was actually laid down as the Cambridgeshire but went straight on the a timed charter with Stolt line. She still remained under Bibby manning though.
Concerning the Thermal oil heating I do remember there was a very large Oil header tank right at the top of the engine room.
This ship was built in Spain, I think they were getting their own back for the Armada. I have never been on a ship that had vibration problems like that thing. So back to the Thermal oil tank, cracks appeared all over it. What a mess. Thankfully I was required back in the Gas Fleet for anotherr new build, LPG m/v Oxfordshire, Japanese built and certainly a lot better than the Stolt Kent.
