Unfortunatly for Rodney he fell into that old trap of putting all his eggs in one basket. I too have a few shares that have been a loss to me and still are but hanging in there. Miind you they will be good to offset the old CGT if I need to sell any. As said before I consider the home a bad investment money wise as it is the only one that does not return a dividend or income over the life I have owned it. In fact the expensis that it incurs just keep going up each year and the only profit it will generate is after I kick the bucket. Its value is only in the security it gives me. Purchase for twenty grand now worth around 650k but wish I was still paying all the expensis at the intial price and not it latest one
