The Spare one
I see on the TV news that the Spare One is back in the UK wanting the British public to pay for a contingent of police to protect him, A bit like they did when he was fighting in Afghanistan, as he is afraid that the Taliban want to kill him. The next day he is in a war zone in the Ukraine, probably hoping that Putin hasn't found out about the visit. What a tosser still trying to bludger his way along.

Re: The Spare one
Why should Putin be bothered Des , he does enough like Trump at present to cast a black spot on the present establishment he was brought up to respect. Ungrateful for what he had and gave away in a tantrum , should have had his behind smacked at an earlier age. God help him if he is still on the reserve list for the army enlistment he insisted on , maybe he couldn’t find his lead soldiers at the time. JS

Pity, if truth then he had a good record as soldier in earlier days.
My thoughts, there may be something in it for him or more likely her.
Looking for new menu ideas maybe for her food show????

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: The Spare one
I doubt his superiors allowed him to be put in real danger anywhere. Same goes for other royals in the forces.

Re: The Spare one
Prince Harry seems to do well enough when he takes on the likes of the Daily Mirror & Daily Mail , the Sun etc. Why should the press get away with intrusion into his private life. The media hounded his mother to death.
I can understand him leaving the UK as him & his family would never be allowed to live a normal life in the UK without media intrusion.
Concerning his military career how do the armchair generals on here know what he did in Afghanistan?
Perhaps that is why he feels the need to have personal protection when in the UK,some Afghan refugee feeling the need to make a statement on behalf of the thousands the UK left behind to be executed by the Taliban
At least he worked hard for and on the behalf of ex service men through his Invictus Games charity, an idea he admits he pinched from the US Warrior Games.
Concerning this case against the Home office, well he is on a hiding to nothing. Never win a case against the UK Gov.
Look at the treatment the former Post Masters/Mistress when the Post Office was still Under the guise of Royal Mail owned by UK Gov. Several Jailed and ordered to pay back Łthousands as they were accused of fraud. Well we all know it was a computer problem. They won there case but compensation is very very slow to being agreed and paid out. Old adage take your time with luck a lot will be under the turf
