Are there any members of the BMN website who worked on P&O SS Oronsay around 1974-1975? Would love to hear from fellow crew members.

hi I sailed on her 74/75 I was a waiter tourist class ressie not sure where we went maybe alaska cruising then down to auz via haiwai,figi,auckland,sydney

ORONSAY 1967: Vancouver > Southampton
I was a 2nd class passenger (age 16) on Oronsay in June-July 1967. Wonderful voyage! Would love to make contact with STEVE (2nd class waiter) and JOHN (2nd class drummer).

I joined Oronsay on 26/01/74 as an electrical officer, the first flight of my life, London to Sydney I finaly got off on 03/08/75

hello chris i was on oronsay joined her at sydney20/11/74 criused back to uk and did med cruise left when her last run to tiawan left in hong kong30/9/75.
i was deckhand did night gang my leading hand was alister last name escapes me . a few other names i still remember.i went onto ss.oriana as bridge seaman.

same here never flew or been abroad anywhere, we were told at the training school try and get an old steamer of something with derricks, when we all put our hands up at southampton pool , i nearly **** a brick when we would be flying to oz. im not a keen fan of flying,good job you could have a good drink first how long was you on oronsay for chris

Hello Chris my name is Michael pace I was on the oronsay in 1974 as a deck boy and finished up taking her to scrap in Hong Kong and then flying home from there

I see many of the above were on the Oransay ,the time my late Uncle Dusty was also on her!
I am sure then that there would be some of you who knew him,he was as I know a very popular Guy on Board!
