The attached poem was given to me by an elderly 92 year old lady back in 2002. Her grandson found it in her loft. How it came into her possession is unknown, but after a tribute piece I wrote on my old website she gave it to me as a thank you. The poem is a tribute to the Merchant Navy, and is dated 1942, written by Wm McAdam. Origin is unknown, but looks like an original copy. I had it sealed in glass and fitted on a stand on my book shelf.
