the vindicatrix camp
vindi site.jpg
Would you please look at the above picture, and see if you can give the names or numbers of the huts.
i have tried in vain to get a map that shows the camp area, between 1956 and 1960.
i have tried the gloucester archive and the gloucester council.
as far as i can tell there is not a map of the camp site anywhere only the one above, which i have
drawn from the various pictures available, and my memory.
the above map was taken to a vindicatrix meeting, and even the people there could not help.
please take your time and study the plan and picture yourself there.
does that bring back all those memories.wow !!!
all the best

Thanks
brian,
i thankyou for your suggestion, that you can help me.
robin who runs the vindi get together will have my plan and another
one for everyone to look at.it is hoped that some of the suggestions
might be promising in getting the huts correctly identified.
by the way,the other plan was sent to me and has numbers on it
which are for a "key"unfortunately this key was not sent because it can
not be found.
it is hoped that it will jog some memories.

My shoes had Cardboard in them until i bought my first pair of new ones on my first H/T Payoff after getting my first ship. Glenn Baker inmate of the Vindi.

There was a water tank across from Hut B3 ,
I have seen the wreckage of it when I have walked through the camp at reunions.

.IS ANYONE GOING TO THE REUNION THIS AUGUST??
I have an operation due sometime but if fit enough will be there.
No free ale this year, `ar Kid has sold his brewery and retired.
