TS Warfleet
Is there any seafarer who went to TS Warfleet, Botley, Southampton 1956. Cpt.Jimmy Southcott was in charge. George Vince his side kick. You either passed out as an officer cadet or as I did, a deckboy.

Hello Dave o yes I remember you you used to borrow my football boots to play for the war fleet team how are you getting on? I am Dennis Knight I joined warfleet 17th September 1956 left July1957 went to sea 17th september 1957 Esso Canterbury love to hear from you, Dennis

I was their in 1959/60 and as above was their and I to passed out as a Deck boy joining my first ship the “Papanui”in dry dock for a few weeks where I then went a joined an oil tanker the “Lincoln” They were great days in my youth.Cheers to you all.
