Bush Rangers and the Mardi Gra
Now everyone has heard of the Gay Mardi Gra in Sydney so I wont elaborate on it, except to show a connection to a bush ranger. Captain Moonlight, years ago in the bush in Australia. he had a partner, and I mean partner, both as fruity as a nut cake, His mate shot a policeman and was hanged, he was buried up in some bush Town, Captain Moonlight who used to bail up the stagecoaches, would have given the men the shivers, expecting to be taken behind a bush . Anyway he was shot, and before he died asked to be buried in the same cemetery as his partner in love, this was done.
There is no truth in th story that some nights in that little town in the bush people are woken up at night by the rattling of old bones.

Re: Bush Rangers and the Mardi Gra
Oh yes Des, the Sydney Mardi Gras.
Not quite the same as the ones in South America.
Ours is the GLTBQIA type, very colorful if nothing else.

Happy daze John in Oz.
