Wonderful
Maundy Thursday after lunch we took a drive up the road to the next town.
Only about 20 or so klm easy drive.
Small local country style town with a very small shopping center with one shop the boss wanted to go to.
Who am I to argue with SWMBO?
It was a warm sunny late Autumn day with glorious sunshine.
After about 30 minutes or so we left the confines of the center and went back outside.
There were about a dozen or so persons collected watching the show which had just begun.
There was a local country fire brigade along with a couple of police handing out typical Oz sausages in a slice of bread.
WE stood in wonder at the performance, we had seen something similar but that was back in about October.
This show was something very special, the chorography was excellent, the back ground music some thing else.
We watched in amazement at the timing of the show, such precision and continuity.
Most stood in awe just watching in silence the show was so good.
It eventually came to an end and we all then went our own way.
It may sound a bit odd to many, particularly to those in the UK, but mate this was the very first RAIN we had seen since last October.
We are in the grips of a very bad drought, hope it is not as bad as the one in the 90's.
Went on for 10 years or so, 150 liters per person per day was the result of that one.

Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Re: Wonderful
Strange that hey John!
Here by us we have had quite a lot of Rain, and cannot complain at all.
Although Yesterday was also a very fine and Sunny Day here too.
And the Long Weekend is forecast to be the same , then Rain and cold starting on Tuesday!
Cheers

Re: Wonderful
Hi John.
About three years ago a new bloke took over the lawn cutting from my mate, since then I think he has cut the lawn and hedges around six times, now been over six weeks since he cut it last and no sign of growing, I think he kept his part time driving job with an oil Company.
